What success looks like in this role:
The Pre-Sale Consultant will be responsible for providing expert technical knowledge and consultation to enterprise-class clients in mission-critical environments. The consultant will work closely with the sales team to provide guidance and support throughout the sales process, from initial meetings and presentations to the final sale. This role reports to VP EMEA Enterprise Computing Solutions.
Work with sales team to understand customer needs and requirements.
Provide expert technical knowledge and consultation to clients during pre-sales engagements.
Develop and deliver product demonstrations and presentations.
Develop technical proposals and solutions that address customer needs.
Respond to customer technical inquiries and concerns.
Work closely with product development and engineering teams to provide feedback on product features and enhancements.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
Good experience in technical sales or pre-sales consulting
Strong technical knowledge and experience with enterprise-class systems and architectures
Excellent communication and presentation skills
English and French language skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to travel as required.
Suitable degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience working in mission-critical environments with high availability requirements.
Experience with cloud computing and virtualization technologies
Experience with data center infrastructure and operations
Experience with security and compliance in enterprise environments
