Student Analyst, Portfolio Management Germany at Abacus Medicine

Sorry, this job has expired.

Abacus Medicine values its students and many choose to start their career with us after graduation. As a Student Analyst at Abacus Medicine, you will be given responsibility from an early stage while working in a global, fast-growing pharmaceutical company where your competencies and aspirations are the only factors setting the limit for what you can accomplish.

Your responsibilities as Student Analyst

The German Portfolio Management team is responsible for introducing the right products to the market, ensuring that products are purchased from the best trades, that the purchased stock is efficiently allocated and sold with the highest possible profit. As a Student Analyst, you will be working alongside fellow students and full-time employees alike, across the Portfolio Management team.

You will join a group of students with multiple areas of responsibility – meaning that you will have different tasks during your workday that are essential to improving and maintaining our position in the German market:

  • Firstly, ensuring that we launch products that match market demands. Performing various analyses on the German market, our competitors, product performance and various ad-hoc factors to ensure that we derive the actionable insights needed to support decision-making.
  • Finally, the group is contributing to the management of the German insurance contracts, which is one of the main demand drivers in the German market.

Our goal is to continuously grow Abacus Medicine in the parallel trade industry, which is why it is important to have a structured and proactive mindset coupled with a strong willingness to learn.

Are you the right candidate?

We expect you to be self-driven, trust-building and capable of creating good relationships with multiple stakeholders in an international environment. You recognize yourself in the following characteristics:

  • Have a thorough and analytical mindset
  • Take on challenges in a complex industry with many stakeholders
  • Proactive and ready for managing complex tasks
  • A strong team player with the ability to work with stakeholder across the organization

Furthermore, we expect (that you have):

  • Studying a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree with at least one year left of your studies
  • Experience with Excel
  • Fluency in English both written and oral (corporate language). German will be a bonus
