The Global Support Office (GSO) Tech organization is responsible for the corporate/global IT systems used by the Operating Companies under the AholdDelhaize holding. IT Services such as Email & Collaboration, Identity & Access Management are delivered to to half a million end-users spread across the globe. The position of the program and project support is a position within the AholdDelhaize GSO Tech Program Delivery team.

AholdDelhaize embarked on a cloud journey and is transitions all on-Prem workloads into the Cloud. To manage the transition and support the application already running in our Global Tenant
We’re looking for an experienced Global Product Owner to lead the development and implementation of our Global Cloud Enablement teams, As Product Owner (Manager), you own the different cloud products achieving an optimal and continuous maturing product roadmap directly to an optimal product roadmap, backlog(s), and user stories.
In our ambition to become a Global tech driven organisation, we are building the technology to support the culture to create an optimal engineering and InnerSource environment together with our Operating Companies all over the world.
This product owner role sits within the GSO IT4IT Platform Enablement department and is responsible for the supply of all changes to the large and complex products within the platform group and other domains including software development services, changes infrastructure changes, service and technical debt for the platforms and systems in the scope of the role. You will be working with DevOpsEngineers, other Product Owners, Product Managers, Platform Architects and FinOps teams and will report directly to the GSO IT4IT Head of Tech. Together you strive to deliver the platform for all the stakeholders from different lines of business, a challenging role!

The Global Product Owner

  • Adjust and improves the GSO cloud vision aligned with the (business) strategy, customer perspective and technical capabilities
  • Processing of the vision and developing a product roadmap, new features, defining epics and user stories, while taking into account the business needs and external developments, in close consultation with relevant stakeholders
  • Works with the Global Support Office (GSO), Information Security, and the different stakeholders to analyze the needs and align cloud capabilities to their requirements and application architecture
  • Briefing of the Dev/Ops team on various activities on the backlog and agree on the content of sprints and deliverable
  • Responsible for the operational and non-functional deliverable such as availability, capacity, performance, continuity and the implementation
  • Responsible for resolving the cause of incidents, 7x24 when necessary, by the Dev/Ops team by workarounds and in permanent solutions
  • Responsible to provide knowledge, documentation, configuration and support characteristics to the support organizations
  • Responsible for system compliancy regarding the data privacy requirements, information security requirements, audit compliance , control requirements and with the license requirements
  • Works with the Global Support Office (GSO), Information Security, and the different stakeholders to analyze the needs and align cloud capabilities to their requirements and application architecture
  • As a team leader, represent the team in front of stakeholders, clients, or users and help the team to elevate the engineering level
  • Is transparent and supplies on-time delivery of information, communication, and advice to various stakeholders incl. Suppliers.
  • You coach your product teams to identify, prioritize, and manage the product roadmap, user stories and even more astutely, the backlog
  • You OWN the engineering product including but not limited to performance, quality, ‘paved road’ interfaces, frameworks for users, all while making sure it is a cost-effective platform.
  • You are responsible for communicating and working with stakeholders across the board, including Platform leads, business managers, and the development team to make sure the goals are clear, and the vision is aligned with business objectives.

32-40 hours
hourly rate: approx 90-100 euro gross per hour
