Joining Vestas Development as our new Student Worker is a unique opportunity to help address the need of high-quality development projects!
 

Vestas Development > Commercial Management 

Vestas Development is a newly established business unit within Vestas that brings new growth while supporting the existing business in all project development aspects. The function's main responsibilities are to originate and develop new wind and hybrid projects across the globe via its own resources as well as via development partnerships that are established and supervised by the group.
 The Commercial Management team in Vestas Development is responsible for the profitable management and growth of this business unit and fulfils three main functions: Strategy formulation, Deal flow management as well as Systems and reporting. In light of rapid growth, we are now looking for a Student Worker (15 hours per week) for the Commercial Management team.

 

Responsibilities

As a Student Worker in Commercial Management you will join a small, fast-paced, analytical team with global reach and broad scope reporting to the Portfolio Management Specialist, Commercial Management. Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshooting and ensuring high data quality in our newly launched project management system
  • Development, implementation and maintenance of financial and portfolio related reporting in both Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Development and implementation of data models combining data from different sources
  • Define and manage system processes
  • Ensure and facilitate high quality tutorials, training material and training platform for our project management system
  • Define creative and innovative new features and functionalities for our project management system to improve reporting, system performance and data quality


Qualifications 

On a professional level, we expect you to have the following qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in business, finance or economics having completed at least two years of studies 
  • Financial and system understanding
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office products e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI
  • Enthusiastic and good collaboration skills 
  • An international mindset
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
