Head of HR - Consumer at Pernod Ricard

Drinks&Co is Europe’s leading wine and spirits omnichannel retailer. It combines Direct sourcing and Private sales from more than 2.000 wineries and spirits producers across Europe with a marketplace model aggregating the offer of more than 400 e-retailers.

  • the merger of Uvinum, Europe’s largest wine and spirits marketplace and Bodeboca, the leading online wine e-commerce website in Spain

Position purpose:

As our Head of HR – Consumer, you will have the opportunity to drive the HR strategy of our Consumers division to ensure Drinks&Co ability to attract and retain best talent with high engagement.
We have significant ambitions, and will recruit, train and grow many talents over the coming years while reinforcing our performance and teamwork culture. People management is instrumental and at the core of our growth strategy, especially in our environment where talents are incredibly scarce and valuable.
Reporting to Drinks&Co Consumer Managing Director, this position is based in Barcelona. It encompasses the operational management of local HR for a population of 160 people based in Madrid, Barcelona and Paris.

The main responsibilities are :

  • Support definition of global HR strategy, company culture, employer branding and compensation/ benefits programs
  • Manage recruitment, development and retention of top talents in the market
  • Manage integration process and on-boarding of recruited talents
  • Manage and coordinate the Performance Appraisal and Development process
  • Define and put in place training program
  • Monitor and drive company culture and workforce engagement
  • Define and execute local HR calendar based on local priorities (team events, etc.)
  • Define, monitor and adapt the remote working policy
  • Administrate payroll and benefits program for Spanish employees
  • Monitor, manage and update the HR information systems
  • Implement and manage compliance efforts with labor laws and regulations
  • Support change management at Drinks&Co
  • Manage annual budget for the HR department in Spain

The profile required is:

  • 5+ years of experience, including 2 years in the HR field in a technology company
  • Broad experience across HR functions (talent sourcing, culture, talent management, etc.)
  • Great communication skills and an unmatched ability to create team dynamics
  • Diligent and firm with high ethical standards
  • Broad experience with Spanish and French labor laws and regulations
  • Excellent Spanish, written and spoken, and business proficiency in English
  • Experience in an e-commerce or marketplace
  • Appetite for the wine and spirits business environment
