Job Description:
TSPPS - EEE Parts Engineering & Radiation

Mission:

Support all internal/external clients and the EEE components supply chain on all technical, technology & radiation aspects from first idea up to the procurement.
Maintain a high level of expertise in EEE technology and radiation domain with the adequate recognition of customers and space agencies.
Lead the Airbus DS wide RADIUM process through RPOs
Support projects for radiation aspects (requirement definition, equipment radiation analysis production or validation, etc…)
Support EEE components quality assurance for all technical problems (failure analysis, MRB, CTC, etc..) and for EEE Manufacturer Survey activities
Support design teams with EEE technical data
Support advanced R & D studies related to technologies and radiation.

Tasks:

The post holder shall provide support to internal equipment supplier in the area of radiation environment being in charge of radiation analysis on materials, wires and EEE components by performing risk analysis according to project radiation necessities and to ensure compliancy to project radiation quality insurance requirements.
Relevant tasks for the post holder are;
  • To realize calculations relevant to radiation analysis (sector analysis (dose) and SEE predictions)
  • Involvement in EEE parts radiation test definition, in particular in support to EEE procurement activities
  • Project support in all project development phases for equipment projects, from bid-phase to delivery
  • Contribute to the radiation / EEE data collection in the frame of TSPP transnational organization and supporting radiation test campaigns by drafting test plans.
  • Strong Interfacing to electronics design community, pro-active support for all radiation relevant topics
  • Establish and support a strong interaction to the EPA center of competence (CoC).
  • Support all project phases from bid-phase to delivery within the radiation domain
  • Ensure conformance of all subcontracted equipment to the projects radiation requirements
  • Review subcontractors performance and documents, hold review meetings (ERCBs, ESRs)
  • Promote and apply Airbus DS standards and processes in the radiation area, especially the RADIUM process

Requirements:

Degree 2 Years & more - Engineering / Electrical Engineering
Degree 2 Years & more - Physics
Experience Level of Experience
Engineering - 2 to 3 years
Quality Less - than 3 years
Other skills: Good knowledge of EEE device physics, construction, functionality and failure modes related to passive, active and optoelectronics components
Negotiation level communication skills in English is required, as the job is likely involves working with international projects teams and transnational organization communicating with other engineers and departments.
Candidates should be able to work autonomously and cooperatively with a proactive attitude solving problems.
Advantage: experience in Radiation Analysis and knowledge of radiation effects on EEE devices. Experience with analysis tools like FASTRAD
