Interning at Nasdaq
The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with an outstanding opportunity to experience a relevant and immersive 10 week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning development opportunities and meet with senior leaders. This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August 2022.

The Team

QA Frameworks is a team of highly motivated Engineers and QA Analysts. Our goal is to provide the best possible QA tools and frameworks for more than a dozen of internal and external customers. We cover many Business Domain areas as well as technical protocols, transport and logical layers of Nasdaq product ecosystem.

Your Role

As an intern you will be analyzing, designing and implementing software solutions for one of our projects. The QA Analyst intern is expected to be taking part in Test Planning, Test Case definition and test execution.

Who we are looking for:

  • Passionate individual looking to start their career in technology
  • Completing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology related field with an anticipated graduation date after December 2022 until summer of 2023
  • Genuine interest in QA and Testing
  • Has experience writing codes in Java and JavaScript
  • Comfortable with some front-end programming
  • Experience in writing Scripts in Shell or Python and has worked on Linux systems would be an advantage
  • Take part in planning, designing, testing, and delivering Software on time and in collaboration with multiple stakeholders. We will value your input and opinion from day one.

  • Energized by a heavy workload and tight deadlines
  • Able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally

Sample Projects:

One common goal of any of those is a high-quality QA tool that enables our customers to increase the quality of their deliveries. It may be Domain Specific Testing framework features, rule validations, specific protocol support or automation of test run in our CI/CD.

This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August.

This is a paid internship with a gross hourly salary range of €6.00 to €6.50. As this position is located in Vilnius, Lithuania, a valid study and/or work permit for the EU is mandatory.
