Interning at Nasdaq
The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with an outstanding opportunity to experience a relevant and immersive 10 week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning development opportunities and meet with senior leaders. This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August 2022.

The Team

Would you like to launch your career in the international HR team who is building and sustaining world-class teams? The People Planning and Partnership organization at Nasdaq is the client facing team within People@Nasdaq that builds strategic partnership with the business and owns the process from proactive sourcing and talent pipelining, hiring strategy and execution to ongoing consultation to building high performing and engaged teams.

Your Role

We are looking for a passionate and responsible person who would join Nasdaq global 2022 Summer Internship program and focus on execution within key areas including performance management; talent management; learning and development, employee relations and rewards & recognition.

Who we are looking for:

  • Passionate individual looking to start their career in HR and supporting people in the organization.
  • Completing a degree in Business, Human Resources or related field with an anticipated graduation date after December 2022
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, writing and verbally

What would be helpful:

  • A self-starter with evidence of fantastic communication skills
  • A critical thinker who exhibits prioritization and organization skills
  • Has positive mentality and a can-do attitude

Sample Projects:

You will be working closely and collaborating with People Team across the organization. You will be contributing to the administrative support and special projects. We expect you to contribute in creating efficient ways of processing and administering data and finding opportunities for improvement and growth. You will be invited to gain experience in analyzing people data and compiling relevant reports to develop HR insights for the business. Also, you will be assisting in roll out of company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., Performance Management, Employee Experience, Organizational Changes, Process Improvement, etc.). We believe that these opportunities will help you to gain valuable experience and skills in HR, while being supported by the team.

This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August.

This is a paid internship with a gross hourly salary range of €5.00 to €6.00. As this position is located in Vilnius, Lithuania, a valid study and/or work permit for the EU is mandatory.
