Sorry, this job has expired.

Store Team Member (new eCom Department)

Want to be a part of the first eStore in Australia? Come and help us bring a little good for our online customers. This role will:

  • Shape the future of online shopping

  • Work with cutting edge emerging technologies

  • Work in the largest store in our network

  • Provide access to great career opportunities

Located in Carrum Downs, VIC, an eStore is not a Customer Fulfilment Centre nor just a traditional Supermarket. It mixes a traditional supermarket with technology to operate a 24/7 model. It brings an opportunity to work with cutting edge automation and build out what the future of online could look like.
The eStore will be capable of delivering increased capacity as well as increased availability to support the ever-growing customer needs in the area.
The new technology will increase productivity by reducing the need for team members to walk up and down aisles whilst still allowing our customer orders to be handpicked. Medium to fast-moving lines will be housed in an extended back of house area to enable picking efficiency.

What makes you right for Woolies

As a Store Team Member, you will have the opportunity to work in different departments in the eStore. Be it on the shop floor (e.g checkouts, grocery) or in the eCom floor (the extended back of house area dedicated to fulfil online customer orders), you’re all about going the extra mile to serve our customers.
We currently have the following opportunities:

  • Fulfilment Team Member - With a keen eye and steady hand, you’ll pick the freshest products for our customers who shop online by picking customer orders on the shop and eCom floors (this inculdes using new cutting edge technology that brings product straight to you)

  • Last Mile Team Member - Be part of the fast paced last mile solution which sees you consolidating and staging customer orders ready for dispatch

  • Stock & Systems Team Member - Your work in the putaway of stock and inventory in the new technology is vital in keeping our online customer happy

These roles best suit candidates who enjoy working in a physically demanding and repetitive role.
The right attitude is everything....

  • Genuine passion for food & shopping

  • Customer first mentality

  • Love of teamwork and growing with others

  • Flexible and adaptable to change

  • Willing to work and reliable

This store will be the first of its kind and so we will be using it as a ‘test and learn’ store where hearing from our team about what works and what doesn't will be extremely important to us. If you want to be part of the future of online and help shape our team and customer proposition then we are looking for you.

When you will be needed

Meeting the needs of our customers is our number one priority and right now we need new team members who can work flexible hours which includes early mornings, late nights, overnights, and weekends.
We have part time and casual roles available to cover multiple shifts in:

  • Picking and Packing between 5am and 2am the following day

  • Last Mile between 4am and 11pm

  • Replenishment between 1pm and 4am the following day
