Job Purpose
  • Lead the Indonesia Marketing organization in creating and executing marketing and branding strategies and plans, that drive achievement of country business growth and profit objectives, and aligned with the overall regional marketing strategy and directions
  • Actively contribute in shaping these regional strategies and the in-market execution of select regional marketing projects/initiatives
  • Be the Brand custodian for Indonesia Decorative Paints BU

Key Accountabilities
  • Co-create the regional marketing strategy and plans
  • Lead the marketing strategy development and execution at Country level, aligned with overall regional strategies and directions
  • Manage the total decorative paints portfolio for both Retail and Projects across various product platforms
  • Develop and drive the innovation roadmap to ensure healthy pipeline for the portfolio, for both Retail and Projects range
  • Develop and execute marketing communication and activation platforms, aligned with regional directions
  • Develop and implement strategies that deliver business objectives, build and sustain profitable long-term business partnership with painters and architects & interior designs, and develop them to become loyal and strong advocates of our brands
  • Be the Country brand champion and custodian
  • Build, develop and nurture a strong and highly motivated marketing organization, highly capable and focused on delivering the country growth objectives
  • Lead compliance with Product Stewardship and relevant Sustainability metrics

Key Activities
  • Lead the development of long-term and medium-term marketing plans and strategies for both Retail and Professional businesses in Indonesia
    • Collaborate closely with regional marketing team, aligning on long-term regional and country directions and strategies
    • Identify the resources needed to deliver the plans and objectives
  • Lead the development and implementation of an integrated annual marketing plan for both Retail and Projects. Set challenging yet realistic targets (market share, revenue, profits, brand health) and the specific key initiatives to deliver these.
    • Shape the annual marketing budget to deliver the plans, ensuring optimal allocation across the key initiatives
    • Organize and track performance targets
    • Conduct monthly operational reviews, and quarterly reviews with key stakeholder at local and regional level. Revise plans and course-correct when necessary

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum 8 years in a marketing role, preferably with experience in fast-moving consumer goods industry
  • People management experience
  • Experienced with a scope and impact at the country-level and exposed to regional way of working
