The Homes & Communities team is changing. Our three-year Departmental Plan sets out an ambitious vision for the service that uses our unique position in and around people’s homes to enable them to thrive and live well. As part of this, the Tenancy Management, Antisocial Behaviour and Customer Services teams within Homes & Communities have been restructured, to deliver a new service model that is person-centred, targeted and focused on early intervention and prevention.
The new service will have three ‘tiers’ providing tenancy services to residents with different levels of engagement and need. You will be based within the Targeted Tenancy Services team, offering a range of services to the majority of tenants. This will include:
- A duty and emergency function, delivering ‘on the day’ tenancy services including viewings / establishing new tenancies
- A casework system for non-emergency tenancy-related service requests from residents (including lower level antisocial behaviour)
- A range of proactive interventions to identify and address resident need at an earlier stage – including home visits
This is a fantastic opportunity for a tenancy expert to join our lively, enthusiastic and welcoming team. Using your strong customer service skills, person-centred approach and understanding of housing policy, legislation and the network of supportive partner agencies across the borough, you will provide a responsive and proactive tenancy management and antisocial behaviour service to our tenants.
This is a brand new team and you will have a great opportunity to contribute to its development. We look forward to hearing from you.
