about the roleThe position to be hired: Voice Buyer within OBS Sourcing, reporting to Head of International Voice and Capacity sourcing.
Manage existing international voice suppliers, mitigate risk, continually check and balance variables (such as price) with market conditions and drive cost reductions.
The scope covered by this position includes, but not limited to, the sourcing of international ITFS, DID, SCN, TFN.
This mission is at the heart of Orange's strategy, meeting the needs of OBS customers, Orange affiliates and Orange International Carrier division.
Manage supplier spend (approx, 12M$ yearly spend).
Negotiate large value deals across the world.
Strong interlock with Sales teams to generate reciprocal business where appropriate, and support in ‘winning’ future business.
Provide expertise to regional sourcing teams; act as reference for all Sourcing initiatives on Voice.
Actively lead the collection of internal stakeholders needs.
Elaborate sourcing strategy based on market knowledge and OBS needs.
Conduct commercial negotiation with suppliers (pricing, commercial clauses of the contracts).
Select suppliers and present Sourcing Recommendation.
Communicate, promote usage of selected suppliers and negotiated contracts among entities;
Set up a fruitful and useful relationship with the relevant BUs linked to his/her scope.
Brings your expertise on the voice into the customer project negotiation to deliver additional cost optimization/savings.
Negotiates customer specific contract and conditions with suppliers.
Manage relationship with one or more suppliers (supplier owner).
Set up regular business reviews; follow supplier business with and without Orange, tracks supplier's performance.
Act as a single point of contact to the supplier for commercial issues related to his/her commodities.
Participate actively in market & supplier performance monitoring.
Contributes to Partnership activity wherever Supplier's governance is managed by the Partnership Entity
