Manager, European Field Marketing at Lionbridge

The European Field Marketer will design, develop and oversee the implementation of regional customer acquisition/expansion campaigns across an integrated marketing mix. The ideal candidate is a marketing strategist who enjoys developing creative customer acquisition programs in collaboration with sales, including bespoke account specific marketing plans and programs. S/he will be a marketing strategist for Europe, overseeing regional campaigns end-to-end while ensuring all marketing programs are flawlessly executed, brand compliant and aligned with global marketing objectives and strategies. This role reports to the VP, Demand Generation and will be based in Madrid, Spain.

In this role you’ll get to:

  • Partner with Sales leaders to translate revenue goals into marketing plans and programs that grow revenue in Europe. Design, develop and oversee demand creation, lead nurturing and pipeline acceleration programs
  • Develop compelling end-to-end program briefs (including desired audience, pain points)
  • Develop copy to support programs, includes working from initial concept to developing copy outlines and copywriting individual content pieces
  • Be accountable for program performance and reporting on pipeline creation from these programs
  • Adapt global marketing campaigns for a local audience
  • Identify content assets to support regional marketing programs
  • Develop European webinars, including identifying presenters and writing webinar descriptions. Collaborate with the global events manager to make sure they are well executed and with Marketing Automation to make sure they are well promoted.
  • Be our European contact and go-to resource for tradeshows and Lionbridge events in the region.
  • Collaborate with the Global Digital Marketing team to define an always-on digital marketing strategy (e.g., email, SEM, content syndication and account-based advertising) to drive engagement
  • Design, develop and implement highly effective account-based marketing programs to expand revenue within European customer accounts, working closely with Global Demand Generation Managers
  • Work closely with portfolio marketing to activate personas in demand creation programs


  • 3-5 years of field marketing in a global company
  • You have superb interpersonal skills and are at ease influencing people
  • You are a natural project manager with superb organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to identify and solve problems independently
  • Bring new ideas and creativity to the team for consideration
  • You know how to become a trusted partner with sales colleagues
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time as needed
  • 2+ years as a marketer in a global company
  • Bachelors' degree or equivalent, in marketing, linguistics or a related field>
