Role/Department Description:
The Product Manager will focus on the strategic and tactical product responsibilities for the development of our document search applications, to facilitate the exploration of text-based data in the financial research process. The Product Manager is part of the Research SBU Product Development group which is responsible for the execution and development of products that continue to make FactSet the premier technology partner for our clients. Research products serve all user groups, and are tightly integrated with other product offerings on the FactSet platform.

  • You have proven experience of bringing disruptive products to market and iterating based on user feedback and workflow requirements
  • You communicate business needs to the development team, are clearly able to articulate value propositions, and are driven by the “why” when creating product road maps.
  • You formulate and communicate strategic direction and position FactSet as a market leader in this space
  • You take a collaborative approach to problem solving, engaging a diverse stakeholder group to work through product ideation to deployment

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with functional leads in Engineering, UX, and ML to build best-in-class Search products and services
  • Manage the strategic and tactical decisions for the product suite to provide product vision clarity
  • Ensure speed, stability and scalability of the team’s products and infrastructure
  • Create and manage effective ‘Go to Market’ strategies to ensure successful adoption of new product offerings
  • Establish and analyze metrics to focus efforts and investments that properly ‘move the needle’
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to better facilitate the product decision making process

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or STEM discipline
  • At least 5 years’ experience in product development and product strategy
  • Product Management experience (preferably in Agile/SCRUM environment) with a strong track record of performance at an individual level
  • Experience working within Fintech or a search product is desired
  • Experience influencing teams in a global, cross-functional environment and building rapport with all levels of the organization
