Power Management Technology Group


Analog Devices’ Power Management Technology Group delivers leading edge solutions across a wide range of markets.This role will be a digital design engineer in the consumer power team located in Chelmsford, MA.The group presents opportunities for the successful candidate to grow their technical and professional skills as part of highly motivated and supportive team within Analog Devices. The team has strong links into the ADI technical community enabling the sharing of technology and best practice methodologies.This role offers the chance to be a significant member of a growing digital and verification team.


  • Contribute to the power IC product digital design efforts

  • Collaborate on architecture, top level, and block level definition

  • Full Chip/block level RTL design and implementation

  • Test mode and scan design and implementation

  • Collaborate with analog engineers to define mixed-signal interface

  • Participate in chip and block level digital/mixed-signal test bench development with Verilog/System Verilog/UVM

  • Modeling/simulating/debugging digital circuits

  • Work with verification team on verification plans, test cases, and analyzing test results

  • Fully document designs and test benches

  • Work with automatic place and route tools

  • Collaborate with the ADI design community on best practices


  • BSEE, MSEE or higher in Microelectronics/Electrical Engineering

  • 5 to 10+ years of professional experience

  • Experience in digital design and implementation is a must

  • Experience in mixed-signal design is a plus

  • Power supply knowledge is helpful but not required

  • Experience in digital verification, system Verilog and UVM is a plus

  • Experience in scripting languages such as Python and Perl is a plus

  • Self-motivation, result oriented, good team work and communication skills
