Main Objective of the position: Lead a strategic portfolio of regional accounts from CIB parents within the Industrial sector. The focus of this role is to originate net new revenues from the full suite of ICG products. Direct responsibility for driving the GSG Latam RAM portfolio and also acting as Senior SAM of the most complex relationships based in Brazil, elevating the presence of Citi and GSG through disciplined calling, local client events and encouraging the outside Citi network to focus on Latin America

  • Manage a portfolio of Industrial clients acting as a RAM / SAM to deliver new origination, resulting in net new revenues for Citi by expanding the wallet penetration through cross-sell of the ICG product platform, while protecting existing revenue streams. Have full accountability for the entire wallet of the client
  • Design and deliver innovative TTS and Non-TTS solutions to help the clients manage their regional balance sheets, working capital and supply chain activity to meet their corporate goals
  • Ensure we are fully connected with all Global Banking compliance and risk management policies. Manage credit allocations as required
  • Improve knowledge of Clients' needs from information sharing, and regular face-to-face client calling program. Manage sales cycle for personal deals and as needed be directly involved in negotiations
  • Become a true trusted advisor to regional CFOs / Treasurers. Identify & anticipate structured / corporate finance, as well as TTS solutions to meet the requirements of the clients
  • Enhance collaboration across all product and customer groups. Partner with all product specialists to drive overall client satisfaction, build client loyalty, and respond to client escalation issues
  • Understand the dynamics of the local financial markets, banking industry and regulatory environment
  • Know your competition and be able to provide critical input to win transactions
  • Manage client’s expectations and effectively engage in difficult discussions with clients
  • Analyze performance results – interpret and adapt strategy to optimize services and financial performance

Skills and qualifications:
  • Strong Risk Skills and SCO (Senior Credit Officer) a plus
  • Demonstrable experience in a local / regional / multi-regional product, or RAM role (+10 years)
  • In-depth understanding of Banking products: Loans, FX, Derivatives, Cash Management, Trade
  • Solid knowledge of Corporate and Structured Finance, Capital Markets & Advisory
  • Strong proven financial and business acumen
  • Proven knowledge of Power and Energy & industrial sectors
  • Knowledge of accounting, legal and compliance principles and procedures relating to the role

Education Level:
  • Bachelor Degree in a related field
  • MBA or equivalent
